WHY SKIFF
Less Handling Friction, More Ways to Camp
The practical benefits customers ask about first: weight, sleep space, airflow, and serviceable daily-use details.

18 kg, Easier to Handle
The lighter inflatable structure reduces the burden of carrying, positioning, and storing the tent between trips.

A 220 × 145 cm Sleep Surface
The 25 cm inflatable mattress creates a documented space for solo, couple, or small-family sleeping layouts.

Mesh Openings and Airflow
Mesh doors and windows support ventilation and help limit insects while keeping the interior connected to the campsite.

Details Built for Repeated Use
SBS zippers, access points, and separate inflatable components keep daily operation and service more straightforward.

Check the Roof System—not Just the Vehicle Type
Skiff can suit cars, SUVs, pickups, vans, and trailers when the vehicle has an approved rack or platform. Compatibility depends on the complete roof system, not the body style alone.
Before ordering: verify the vehicle roof-load limit, rack approval, crossbar spacing, attachment points, and the total installed weight. If you are unsure, send your year, make, model, and clear roof/rack photos.
SETUP & PACK DOWN
Four Steps, with the Safety Checks Included
Use the documented pressures, verify every attachment, and dry the tent before long-term storage.

Step 1 · Inspect and Unfold
Choose a clean, level area. Remove sharp objects, unfold the tent, and inspect the fabric, valves, straps, and rack before inflation.

Step 2 · Inflate to the Documented Pressure
Inflate the air beams to 6–8 PSI and the mattress to 10–12 PSI. Close every valve securely and recheck as temperature changes.

Step 3 · Lift, Attach, and Recheck
Use assistance for roof placement unless a safer verified lifting method is available. Secure the webbing and recheck each attachment point.

Step 4 · Deflate, Dry, Fold, and Store
Release pressure, keep hardware clear of the fabric, dry the tent fully, fold evenly, and return it to the storage bag.

Real Sleep Space, Shown in Measurements
The Skiff sleep system measures 220 × 145 cm with a 25 cm inflatable mattress and is intended for 2–3 sleepers. Your final layout depends on occupant size, bedding, and personal comfort.
Mesh openings support airflow and insect protection. Keep vents clear, manage condensation with ventilation, and avoid blocking valve or service areas with bedding.

Use It Flexibly—Within Clear Boundaries
Primary use: rooftop camping on a verified vehicle and rack system. Clean, level ground or protected indoor use is possible when the mattress is shielded from sharp objects.
Consider water use only when the current instructions, local rules, conditions, and appropriate flotation equipment allow it. Skiff is not rescue equipment. Never use it in current, waves, severe weather, high wind, or heavy rain; dry it fully before packing.

BEFORE YOU ORDER
Skiff Frequently Asked Questions
Fit, handling, pressure, weather, repairs, contents, and support—answered in the order customers usually need them.
Do not decide from vehicle type alone. Verify the vehicle roof-load limit, an approved rack or platform, crossbar spacing, attachment points, and the total installed weight. If unsure, send your year, make, model, and roof/rack photos before ordering.
The 18 kg product weight reduces carrying effort, but roof placement and final positioning should use assistance unless you have a safer verified lifting method. Follow the vehicle, rack, and product instructions.
Inflate the air beams to 6–8 PSI and the mattress to 10–12 PSI. Do not over-inflate. Recheck pressure as ambient temperature changes.
Weather-resistant fabric does not remove the need for safe operating limits. Do not use Skiff in high wind, heavy rain, extreme climates, or as a long-term outdoor shelter. Check the forecast and exit early when conditions deteriorate.
Ground and protected indoor use require a clean, level surface with the mattress protected from sharp objects. Consider water use only when current product instructions, local rules, conditions, and appropriate flotation equipment allow it. Skiff is not rescue equipment and must not be used in current, waves, severe weather, or other hazardous water.
Stop using the tent, move it to a clean safe area, check the valves and affected component, and follow the repair-kit instructions. Contact Playdo support for seam, valve, or structural damage outside the documented repair process.
The documented package includes the tent with dust cover, retractable ladder, four 6 m webbing straps, manual air pump, outer storage bag, shoe pouch, and repair kit.
Skiff includes a 1-year manufacturer warranty for manufacturing issues affecting the air-column or tent fabric. Contact service@playdo-home.com for product support.
